The Last Light – 13-Hour Endurance🏁
On July 17, two FWM Racing teams traveled to Lüneburg (Germany) to compete in "The Last Light" 13-Hour Endurance race, organized by Kart Masters Deutschland.
It was an amazing experience for all the FWM Racing drivers!
Friday was dedicated entirely to practice. The circuit proved to be fantastic, featuring significant elevation changes that made every lap a challenge. After a productive day of practice, both teams were ready for Saturday's race.
Qualifying took place over two sessions (Q1 and Q2), resulting in an excellent P2 for FWM Racing 1 and P16 for FWM Racing 2.
During the race, it became clear that there were significant differences between the karts: four were very fast, six were noticeably slower, and the rest were fairly evenly matched. But one thing is certain: a lot can happen in a 13-hour endurance race. FWM Racing 1 dropped to P16 during the first four hours but fought back impressively to eventually cross the finish line in P10. FWM Racing 2 drove a strong, consistent race, securing a solid P15 finish.
But the atmosphere was more important than the final result. Racing together, supporting one another, enjoying the competition, and having a fantastic weekend as a team—that is what FWM Racing is all about. A big thank you to Kart Masters Deutschland for organizing this wonderful event. On to the next endurance race! 💙🏁
